SPIRIT OF THE COUNTRY teams up with JUSTICE FOR OUR DAUGHTERS to present a concert event featuring Chris Janson, Tennessee-based community groups, and other Tennessee artists who are uniting to take on human trafficking and sexual predators. Human trafficking often times is related directly to drug cartels as they use human trafficking to diversify criminal portfolios, maximize profits, and control smuggling routes. JUSTICE FOR OUR DAUGHTERS is on the front line of taking on sexual predators and those who seek to exploit and traffic the innocent and vulnerable. This special collaboration concert between the two organizations represents the commitment of SPIRIT OF THE COUNTRY to aid and assist the fight against human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
MISSION OF JUSTICE FOR OUR DAUGHTERS:
Human trafficking and sexual exploitation are grave violations of human rights, affecting millions worldwide, and threatening the safety and dignity of American youth. The artist community of Middle Tennessee is uniting with other artists throughout America to demand urgent attention and collaborative action to this growing threat.
Human trafficking is still prevalent, in large part, because prosecutors are reluctant to pursue these cases. As recent history demonstrates – Weinstein, Epstein, Nygard and others - the court of public opinion has been the key to incentivizing the criminal justice system to finally prosecute. The primary mission of J4D is: finding predators; interviewing victims; helping civil lawyers to build a civil case; helping law enforcement build a criminal case, and; introducing such cases to investigative journalists and influential media outlets.
